Crafted with prized grapes from some of the top wine growing regions in California, this dynamic sparkling wine is a lively cross between Old World and New World style. To pay respect to the elegant bubbles from the Champagne region in France, the core of the blend is 74% Chardonnay. While the remainder is a fantastic combination of Sauvignon Blanc, French Colombard and Reserve White Wine, which provide extra layers of complexity, sexy aromas, and that lively California character to this bubbly delight.
With a lovely pale golden color, the wine opens up with attractive scents of ripe tree fruits, fresh melon, lemongrass, citrus blossom, tangerine zest, chamomile tea, and roasted almonds. On the palate, vibrant sensations of tart Granny Smith apple, poached pear, ripe lemon and grapefruit are intermixed with hints of peanut brittle, nutmeg, and a light drizzle of sweet honey leading to a clean, crisp finish. Smooth and creamy with a burst of citrus-driven acidity at the end and only 13.2% alcohol. This is a great sparkler with ability to refresh the palate, pair with salty sensations, and stimulate conversation with friends and family any day of the week. A real gem with only 132 cases produced.
